Summer Youth Camp PDF Print E-mail

Sessions are 6 to 8 days long. Capacity for youth camp is 128 (64 boys and 64 girls). At youth camp, campers spend time with cabin mates and staff, while eating, playing, going on a campout, praying, and learning new skills.

Summer Asthma Camp PDF Print E-mail
During one youth camp session each summer Camp Tall Turf teams up with the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital to offer Asthma Camp. Asthma Camp is like every other youth camp session except that just over half of the campers have asthma. To accomodate these campers, doctors and nurses stay on-site throughout the session.

W.O.R.K. (Weekly Opportunities for Reconciling Kids) is a program that runs every Saturday morning throughout the school year out of Camp Tall Turf's Grand Rapids location. WORK includes

  • Weekly activities
  • Bible Studies
  • Building relationships with mentors
  • Service Opportunities
  • Field Trips
  • Occasional Retreats

Summer Junior LIT Program PDF Print E-mail

 Camp Tall Turf is excited to offer a new program this summer for youth ages 12-14!  This summer, these youth will have the opportunity to participate in the Junior Leaders In Training (jLIT) program.  Through this experience they will get a small taste of what is like to be a Leader In Training.  During this 4 week program, jLITs will attend a youth camp session; participate in various leadership trainings; discover potential career options; visit local colleges; serve in the local community; participate in a service project in Chicago; job shadow a high school LIT; and most importantly, they will be challenged to grow in their relationship with God through daily discipleship.  In order to participate in this program, students must complete an application and a brief interview.  To apply, please contact the Camp Tall Turf office at (616) 459-7206.  It’s going to be a great summer!
